Training Sessions Terms
Kyra offers tailored one-to-one training sessions for puppies up to one year of age. Support is available for toilet training, loose lead walking, recall, stopping jumping up, and managing play biting, nipping, and chewing. Sessions also focus on building your puppy's confidence, improving focus and responsiveness, and helping them settle into your lifestyle as much as possible.
Sessions last one hour and can take place in your home, garden, or local park. All training is force-free and based on positive reinforcement.
Behavioural session terms
Kyra offers custom one-to-one behavioural sessions for dogs experiencing more complex concerns, such as separation-related behaviours, fear and anxiety, reactivity, aggression towards people or dogs, and resource guarding. Sessions focus on understanding your dog's individual motivations, underlying emotional state, and the environmental factors influencing their behaviour.
A behavioural consultation typically lasts up to 90 minutes and takes place in your home. Following the session, you will receive a personalised behaviour modification plan along with practical management strategies to support your progress at home. You will also receive clear guidance and ongoing support throughout your dogs behavioural modification journey.
A full history is required prior to your appointment, together with a vet referral. A written report will be provided after the session and shared with your vet.
Cancellations and Refunds
You must provide 24 hours' written notice to reschedule; shorter notice or no-shows forfeit refund payment. Kyra reschedules if she cancels, with advance warning where possible. Full payment is due 24 hours before sessions; no refunds apply after the first session.
Fees and Payment
Fees are fixed at booking and cover consultations, written reports, follow-ups, and vet correspondence for presented issues only. Additional animals or unrelated behaviours attract extra charges. Pet insurance often reimburses fees, Kyra supports claims at no extra cost. Late payments suspend services.
Safety and Liability
You accept risks of injury or damage during sessions and indemnify Kyra against your dog's actions or property harm. Maintain pet liability insurance; Kyra holds public liability coverage. Disclose risks like biting or contagious illness beforehand with precautions. You remain responsible for your dog at all times. Kyra may end unsafe sessions without refund.
